The Week That Was: Instagrammed

Another gorgeous scorching week in sunny ol’ Eastbourne, once again I’m linking up to Hannah's linky The Week That Was: Instagrammed

the week that was

Having checked the tide times I knew we were in for another low low tide, the kind where the beach turns sandy and you walk under the pier, hurrah!

We spent the morning strolling through the water.

eastbourne pier, fishing net

We were able to walk under the pier, very weird under there, you don’t truly grasp how big they are until you stand underneath one!

Another day another trip to the beach!

The boys are fully embracing public nudity, Ahren actually threw himself in the water to ensure his clothes were soaked!

rubbish on eastboune beach, cupcakes

After Ethan fell over and grazed both knees I decided it was time to head home and do the only thing that made sense, made cakes, they were so good!

Today I righted a wrong.

Despite having lived their entire lives but the seaside, my little darlings have never had a bucket and spade, nor have they made a sandcastle!!

We had so much fun at the beach, just having a laugh and enjoying our selves, being goofy and not having a care in the world.

Today we melted, seriously fed up with the heat so other than a trip in to town for cookies we lazed around the house.

We all need lazy days once in a while.

Amazingly fun family day out.

Nanie and doopa came to visit and we all went to Amberley Museum, a great place for big and little boys!

With a day that started at 5.30am I wasn’t going to do much of anything constructive, although I did finally weed the front garden, yay me!

It really was too hot to do much of anything other than put the pool up and spend the day splashing in the water.

Hope over to Hannah's linky to see what everyone else has been up to!
