Beating Flu Blues With Beach Walks

As nice as it would be to crawl back in to bed when feeling absolute crap with flu, being a mama to 4 year old boys puts the kibosh on that idea!

Not wanting to keep them cooped up over the weekend we dragged them out to beach with the intention of them running like loons so they would fall asleep at bedtime, obviously I took too much flu remedy, as this never happens!

They were pretty shocked by the waves, which, whilst not massive were pretty big compared to what we usually see.

They got their crazy on!

We saw the remains of a seagulls lunch, poor Crabby!

Shockingly, Ethan found a stone!!

And proved his awful hide and seek skills!

They were amazed by the foam made by the waves, and shocked by it still being wet yet not ‘proper waves’.

They love playing with this, Taking a Stone for a Walk, and play with it whenever we find ourselves at that end of the beach.
