Beach Days

It seems inevitable that living so close to the beach that much of our time is spent with sand between our toes, waves splashing our feet and sunshine warming our shoulders.

Life at the beach is simply wonderful and we’re very lucky to call it our second home.

I’m always shocked at how empty our beaches our, compared to the crazy crowds some beaches get, ours look abandoned in comparison.

I’m not complaining, we love having vast stretches of sand to ourselves.

With low tides this week we’ve been exploring rock pools, searching for tiny fish, crabs and other

I sometimes get worried that our trips to the beach are too samey, but everyday there is something different to do, explore or find.
