Thursday morning we were up and out early to catch the sunrise.
We were blessed with a wonderful misty morning and the Sospan Dau conducting a spot of beach building.
We watched the Sospan Dau, which is a Dutch trailing suction hopper dredger, sail from the horizon of just shy of the waves crashing on the beach before it started spewing its load of shingle upon the beach. If you ever get the chance to see this, you should! It’s rather amazing to see stones, pebbles and rocks fly through the air like a stream of water.
